Serving the local community Churches Together in Leyland aims to respond to the needs of our multi-cultural society.
It is also continuing to develop mutual relationships, to seek a common mind, to make decisions together and to take further steps towards fuller unity.
Each church has its own rich tradition and is encouraged to share this with the other church communities.

Working closely with church communities, businesses and local supermarkets Leyland Foodbank provides temporary relief for the hungry in Leyland. It is open Monday to Thursday 10am –12noon, operating on a referral basis from the Parish Centre at St Mary’s Community Centre, Broadfield Drive. For those in urgent need of food one off parcels are available.

 

 

CTL Furniture Scheme

This scheme offers practical help to those in the community who are most in need.leyland furniture scheme van newCollecting donated pre-loved furniture and distributing it to those in need.
Providing outreach to the community, the scheme is inclusive and non-stigmatising, supporting hundreds of people a year.
For donations or requests, please contact 07444 539866.
It is also providing a valuable environmental role by re-cycling the pre-loved furniture, preventing it from being sent to the local tip.
Run from St Mary’s Community Centre at St Mary’s Church, Broadfield Drive.
The van currently operates on Tuesday morning.
