In September 2014 the Lancashire Environmental Fund awarded Leyland Baptist Church Best Practice Award for Community Buildings.
The Lancashire Environmental Fund supported the building of the new community hall with the building being completed in 2013. In September 2014 the Lancashire Environmental Fund awarded Leyland Baptist Church a Best Practice Award for our Community Building.
The award was quite a surprise and was presented to Phil Stunnel our treasurer and Tony Crawford our Pastor. The award comprised of a framed certificate and a lovely gift of a piece of fused glass art.
